Valnet's Automotive Group is looking for a Product Lead to join our growing team and play a key role in driving the development of our CarBuzz Marketplace and Database product. You will own the product vision and roadmap, serving as the central point of accountability between business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams — ensuring the product is delivered with clarity, quality, and strategic purpose.

Valnet's Automotive Group is looking for a Product Lead to join our growing team and play a key role in driving the development of our CarBuzz Marketplace and Database product. You will own the product vision and roadmap, serving as the central point of accountability between business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams — ensuring the product is delivered with clarity, quality, and strategic purpose.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Marketplace/Database product
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to delivery and iteration
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility
- Collaborate closely with developers, functional analysts, QA, and leadership to ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle
- Conduct market and gap analyses to identify opportunities to improve and evolve the product
- Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Champion the user experience and ensure the product meets the needs of both internal teams and end users
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related leadership role
- Experience working on marketplace platforms, database products, or data-driven applications
- Strong ability to define product vision and translate strategy into actionable roadmaps
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to read and interpret data models and SQL queries is an asset
- Background in the automotive industry is a plus
